Malt Silo
The main grain raw materials of the brewery are barley malt, wheat malt, rice flour, etc. The storage and conveying of malt may take the form of either flat warehouses or vertical silos. Flat warehouses are the optimal choice for breweries with bag packaging and limited storage capacity. Silos are more suited to the storage of bulk raw materials than flat warehouses, they offer a relatively high storage capacity.
Breweries should ensure their storage capacity for various malts and adjunctive grain meets a 10 to 30-day supply requirement. The silo system not only meets the storage needs of the company but also enables automatic material supply, thus saving labor costs.
