4-vessel Brewhouse Introduction: include mash tun, lauter tun, brew kettle, whirlpool tank,50HL to 150HL per Batch,to support continuous production of up to 7 brewing batches per day, with a maximum annual capacity of 12 Million Liters Maximum.
In order to facilitate the brewer to monitor the wort quality, add hops and yeasts in real time during the brewing process, the system is also designed with a wort sampling and testing station, an automatic hop doser, and a dry yeast activation system. This not only simplifies the brewing process, but also improves brewing efficiency and product consistency, ensuring the stability of the final beer quality.
Process Design Basis of the Brewhouse
Saccharification
Infusion Mashing / Decoction Processes
The mash tun is designed with a grist hydrator that allows the malt and the brewing water to be pre-mixed at a propriate water temperature and flow rate before mashing. It not only helps to activate and release the enzyme activity in the malt, but also helps to shorten brewing time. The visual design of the glass grist hydrator also facilitates real-time monitoring by the brewer.
Lautering
Chollima System
The wider design of the lauter tun is equipped with a high-torque motor at the bottom. The rake with the scraper that can be raised and lowered automatically can make the wort filtration and removal of the spent grains much easier, without fear of clogging. The tank bottom is designed with an easily-removable false bottom and a 360° rotatable high-flow backflushing nozzles, which make the filtration smoother and the cleaning more thorough.
Boiling
Standard atmospheric boiling / Low-pressure boiling / Internal calandria with the heatwave
The kettle tun adopts the up-to-date technology of low pressure dynamic boiling and heat recovery system. It can effectively reduce the oxidation of the wort, make the boiling more rigorously and evenly, and can reuse the heat energy released during the boiling process to further reduce energy consumption. Extra 30% headspace and the foam detecting sensor make the boiling process much safer.

Wort Cooling
One stage cooling
The wort is cooled by a single-stage heat exchanger using 2°C cold water as a refrigerant to cool the wort from 98-100°C to fermentation temperature, and the cold water is heated to 82°C and returned to the hot liquor tank. This method is known to be about 15% more energy efficient than a two-stage heat exchanger, and 25% less water consumption.
Energy
Heating Method
The system is heated by saturated steam, which is known to be an efficient and gentle source of heat energy.
The temperature can be precisely regulated within the range of 45-76°C at a rate of 1-1.2°C/min and within the range of 52-100°C at a rate of 1.2-1.5°C/min.
Energy saving
The heat of boiling steam is recovered through the heat exchanger, which can realize steam condensation and at the same time recover 82-degree hot water to the hot water tank for brewing use, which can save about 7% of energy.
Wort cooling uses a single-stage heat exchanger, using 2-degree cold water as the refrigerant to cool the wort from 98-100 degrees to the fermentation temperature. The cold water heats up to 82 degrees and is recycled to the hot water tank. Compared with a double-stage heat exchanger, it can save about 15% of heat energy and 25% of water.
The steam condensate is recycled to the boiler water tank through pipes, which can save about 20% of heat energy waste compared with direct discharge.
Control
Semi-automatic / Full-automatic optional,Combined with different kinds of automatic valves and high sensitivity sensors equipped on the tanks and pipelines, the system can effectively monitor the orderly operation of each unit while greatly saving labor costs, reducing operational difficulties and guaranteeing the safety and stability of the brewhouse system.
One-click brewing
The module simplifies the brewing process by providing a one-button start for accessories as mash pumps and valves, reducing the need for manual operation and minimizing errors.
- Wort cooling via PID adjustment:Control of the wort cooling process is facilitated by temperature transmitters and control valves equipped with an automatic adjustment function.
- Automation of the mashing process:The system automatically regulates temperature and time for each saccharification process, ensuring optimum saccharification conditions, resulting in a more efficient and consistent process
- Automation of the lautering process:Sensors such as level transmitters, flow meters, and distance sensors are used to automatically regulate the speed of wort filtration, as well as the start and stop of the cultivator, its running speed, and lifting height.
- Automation of the boiling process:The boiling intensity is automatically controlled by a pressure transmitter and a foam sensor, which automatically regulates the intensity of the steam heating.
Safety protection
The safety function can be set to the highest level, including the manway opening shutdown, the empty material stop protection function, etc.
- Recipe Storage:System facilitates the setting and storage of brewing parameters for different beer types, allowing for efficient recipe management. You can select your preferred recipe during brewing and have it run automatically.
- Alarm protection automation:Fault alarm functions such as valve opening and closing alarms, low material level alarms and mechanical operation alarms can be configured at different levels.
- Archived logs:The operating log of each electrical component is stored by the system during operation, enabling the brewing process to be recorded and tracked.
