Wet Mill

Wet Mill

Wet milling is an optimal choice for brewing systems with high input quantities and continuous output. Mix the mash with 50-degree water, soak it for 15-20 minutes to reach a moisture content of 30%, and then enter the roller crusher for crushing. While the crushing process is going on, utilize brewing water for a mash.

Components

  • Bucket elevators*2 set
  • Vibration destoner*1 set
  • Permanent magnet drum*1 set
  • Wet miller*1 set
  • Pulse dust collector*1 set
  • Operating platform*1 set

Features

  • Malt crushing time: ≤ 15 minutes
  • Crushing capacity: 8 kilograms/hour
  • Pre-soaking enhances the resilience of wheat husks. Once crushed, the wheat husk maintains its structural integrity, a quality beneficial to the lautering process. The lauter tun’s unit load is higher, up to 250-350kg/m², which allows for more efficient wort lautering. Additionally, harmful components of the wheat husk are less dissolved.
  • Automation: automatic malt weighing and feeding; the mixing station automatically controls malt soaking water and brewing water.
  • Flexible adjustment: The gap between the rollers can be adjusted according to different grain ratios and mashing methods to control the crushing particle size.
  • Sanitation: features a high-efficiency CIP cleaning apparatus that allows for comprehensive cleaning
  • Removal of impurities: It employs De-stoner machine and permanent magnet drum treatments to eliminate any potential impurities that could affect the optimal functioning of our equipment.
  • No dust pollution: The malt impurity removal process uses a pulse dust collector that enhances the quality and hygiene of the malt. The handling plant is fully closed, eliminating any potential dust pollution.
  • Safety: All electrical equipment in the grain handling area is explosion-proof, eliminating the risk of dust explosions.
