Yeast Propagation System

Yeast Propagation System

The yeast propagation system enables breweries to produce yeast in-house, which provides a more effective means of purity and stabilizing yeast quality. This ultimately results in consistent and stable beer quality.
Yeast is extracted from laboratory cultures. After undergoing growth and propagation in the Carlsberg flask and Hansen tank, it is transferred to the yeast propagators on site and ultimately utilized in the beer fermenters.
The yeast propagation system is ideal for breweries with high capacity, professional and experienced teams, and access to test equipment.

The yeast propagation takes the pure yeast stored in the brewery to cultivate a certain yeast quantity for use at the production site.

Main equipment components

  • Carlsberg flask*2 sets
  • Primary yeast propagation tank*1 set
  • Secondary yeast propagation tank*1 set
  • Yeast storage tank*2 sets
  • CIP alkali tank*1 set

Sanitation

The inner surface Ra of the yeast propagator is less than 0.2 microns, minimizing the probability of contamination.

We use well-known brand sanitary piping and achieve high cleanliness and easy cleaning.

We guarantee that all piping can be fully CIP cleaned and steam purged for sterilization.

The wort is completely enclosed and sterilized by steam heating without any dead ends, achieving truly sterile wort.

The air ventilation system utilizes sterile filters with steam sterilization.

Well-known brand 360° high-efficiency rotation cleaning ball provides full coverage without dead ends.

Configuration features

Material: We chose big brands 304 stainless steel plates because of their acid and corrosion resistance, long-term high-temperature resistance, and reliable and guaranteed quality.

Cleaning System: The automatic CIP System and high-quality rotary cleaning ball in this tank ensure there is no dead space, which is essential to maintaining the hygiene of the brewing process.

Sanitary pipeline, high polishing precision, no dead ends to minimize the risk of bacterial build-up

Our high-quality stainless steel valves include butterfly valves, angle seat valves, and T valves. These valves meet the highest health standards.

Welding: The welding process uses automatic equipment to maintain a consistent temperature, reduce oxidation, and prevent ferrite precipitation. This ensures a smooth weld with high fusion and meets hygiene standards.

All welds undergo multi-stage mechanical polishing and pickling passivation to achieve a polished inner surface with a degree of less than 0.4 microns, meeting high hygienic standards.
